Scrapbooking Up North

Fair time is here which meens soon it will be back to school. Where does the time go?? Fall is just around the corner and time to TRY and get caught up on our scrapbooking after a busy summer with lots of picture taking.

Here’s what is going on for the month of September…

*CARD CLASS- Tues. Sept.7th. Class times are 1:00 or 5:30. Please sign up and pre-pay by Wed. Sept. 1st. Bring Basic Kit with scissors,adhesive etc.

*1st CROP- Friday, Sept. 17 & 18. Friday 10-10 Saturday 10-5. $10 minimum purchase per day. Please sign up a week in advance.

*NEW…School products in just in time to scrap the first day of school. Fall,Halloween,Christmas are arriving.

*Basic Grey Kits for September and October should be arriving soon!

It’s so hard to believe that we are already into July. My email has not been working so will just be updating the blog until I can get that fixed. 

A few things to let you know what is going on….

New Basic Grey kits for July and August are in. They are pretty cute. Stop into the store and check them out.

Card class is the 1st Tuesday of every month. We have a 1:00 & 5:30 class. Next class will be August 3rd. Please sign up a week in advance.

Also have some NEW items that just came in….Bo Bunny 4th of July, Travel paper from Little Yellow Bicycle and Flowers from Prima.

Basic Grey kit of the month is ready for April.”Spring” theme. This is what you get in your kit: 10 double sided patterened pieces of paper, 1 page of letter stickers, 1 pkg. of ribbon, 1 pkg of flowers. Cost is $25.00 You can follow kit instructions or do your own thing. You will end up with extra supplies.

Scrap Mania is scheduled for Saturday April 17th. 10a.m.-9p.m. $ 10 minimum purchase. Please sign up by April 13th.

Grand Opening will be May 13,14 &15. Specials throughout the store and a daily drawing for prizes. Need not be present to win. More new items arriving.

HAPPY EASTER!

I am very excited to start this new adventure and have been busy in the store and trying to get settled. So much to do and not enough hours in a day:)

I have started ordering lots of NEW items and they will start to arrive early next week so make sure to stop in and check it out. Also, I am working on scheduling classes and crops and will let you know as soon as I get everything squared away.

I am so excited to tell you next week Scrapbooking Up North will have it’s new owners! Isn’t that great news? I’m so happy to have the store stay open. As for me, today is my last day. I wanted to take a minute to tell you all how much I’ve enjoyed meeting you, teaching you, laughing with you, and having a great time. THANK YOU!

I know the photo has nothing to do with scrapbooking, the store, or anything like that…but it sure looks a lot warmer than what I see outside my window!  Just wanted to share. 

As for the store, we are currently working toward a sale.  Yea!!  I will keep you as up to date with the information as possible.  Also, with a sale pending that means that the “closing” sale is now no longer necessary.  All products are back to regular pricing, except the Wildflower Stamps, which remain discounted at 50% off.

I wanted to update you on the status of the store. We are currently talking to someone about purchasing the store. Hopefully, we will be successful in selling instead of closing Scrapbooking Up North. We should know more by the end of the week. Until then, everything in the store is 25% off, with the exception of Wildflower Stamps, which are 50% off. Now’s a great time to take advantage of the sale and pick up some items you may be needing or wanting.

I wanted to let you know Scrapbooking Up North is still here! We are currently exploring some possibilites of selling our business, instead of closing. As soon as I know more, either regarding a sale or a closing, I will let you know. Until then, we are open for business! We still have a lot of great products in stock, and are currently waiting for a shipment of albums, adhesives, page protectors, and some fun things too.

Stop by the store to take advantage of our “Going out of business” discounts. If we sell the business, the discounts will end, so don’t miss out! Also, during December, all Wildflower Stamps are on sale at 50% off. If the store sells, the Wildflower Stamps will most likely go with me, so don’t miss out on great stamps at great prices while you can.
